Make Your Own Oil "Candles  "

What You Need:

Old bottles such as wine bottles, perfume bottles, vinegar bottles, etc.  with the labels removed

Nylon wick with bottle cap holder-available   at craft and candle making/supply stores

Lamp oil  (actually I have had good results with cooking oil when in a pinch)

Funnel

How To:

Put funnel on bottle and fill with your oil.  Place the wick in the bottle; the bottom of the  bottle-remember the wick must touch the lamp oil.  Let wick soak for about 5-10 minutes and it's ready to light!

**Remember, the wick is made of a special nylon material that lasts a long time and doesn't burn up like a candlewick. You may  need to trim it a few times a year.

**Two ounces of lamp oil will burn for  approximately 12 hours.
